Fossa 4-10  Ballyduff 3-3

Fossa played Ballyduff in Fossa  in Round 3
of the U-12 league.
In a very evenly contested first half, Fossa led
2-5 to 1-3 at the break.
Fossa started the 2nd half in great style with Paudie
Clifford scoring a goal from a free. Further points from
Matt Rennie, Brian Myers and David Clifford, who also
scored a late goal, paved the way for victory.
The team played very well overall and are in a good
position in the group.

Fossa  travelled to Na Gaeil in Tralee for
our 2nd game on Sunday evening.
After a very close and exciting first half,
Fossa were behind by 2 points,
3-5 to 1-9 after kicking some great
scores. However Na Gaeil pulled away
in the 2nd half  and won easily.

U-12 Co. League Fossa 4-12 Castlegregory 1-6

Fossa played Castlegregory in the first round of the U12 Section E of the County League. It was played in Fossa on Sunday evening under ideal weather conditions. In a very tight first half Fossa lead 2-6 to 1-4 at half time. However Fossa pulled away and won easily in the end. The final score was Fossa 4-12 and Castlegregory 1-6. This was a very good team performance with everybody playing to their full potential.

Fossa V Scartaglin Sat April 26 Venue Scart Fossa had a great win over a spirited Scart side.

Fossa led at the break by 5-5 to 2-8,Colm Walsh and David Clifford getting the goals.Scart kicked some great long range points in the opening half.

Fossa ran out comfortable winners in the end on a score of Fossa 7-8 Scart 2-10. Fossa had good performances all round- D O Connell in goals and the six backs all defended very stoutly.P Clifford and M Rennie had their moments at midfield. The six forwards all played very well.Super Sub Oisin Sheehan scored a great goal.

Fossa V Kilcummin

We played Kilcummin in Fossa in Round 3 on Thursday night last.Kilcummin started much better and raced into a lead of 1-11 to 0-1 at the break.We had no answer to their all round play.They kicked scores at will from all angles.Fossa played much better in the 2nd half and never threw in the towel.
